As the author of the Better WP Security WordPress plugin I’ve spent quite a bit of time over the last couple of years securing WordPress installs and fixing sites for those who did not. That said, making a reasonably secure WordPress site isn’t all that hard if you know what to look for. My session will focus on the practicals of setting up WordPress with security in mind and maintaining it so as to keep the wolves at bay.
In short, I’ll show folks how securing WordPress can be easier than making a cup of coffee.
